2003 Vacation / Engagement Pictures

We started the vacation in San Francisco visiting Nancy's Brother Bryan and his wife Imelda.  First night we went down to the wharf to watch the sea lions play.

We went to a Japanese Garden in Golden Gate Bridge park in the morning.  It was very peaceful.

Bryan and Imelda did the log ride at the Santa Cruz boardwalk.

We headed down into the valley on the second day and it was awesome.  Pictures don't do it justice.  It is a must see.

Here I am on the hike to the top of Vernal Falls.  It was a steep incline and a long 3 miles, but worth it.

The best view of the falls, complete with rainbow at the bottom.  At the top of the falls, I proposed to Nancy and she said 'Yes' (after she sat backward on a rock and looked stunned for 30 seconds)..  

While we were at the pier, we watched a local juggler's show.  He then let me throw some clubs on stage after his show was complete. 

Also in Golden Gate Park, they have swing dancing in the mornings.  Nancy and I took in a few dances

Nancy and I then went to Yosemite Park to take in some natural beauty.  This is a lake on the upper side of the park.

Nancy is making the heights look easy.  

Here is at one of the Juggling shows in Reno.  We spent the remainder of the week celebrating with friends and enjoying what was left of our vacation.
